THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT LEGISLATION TO HIT THE FLOOR OF THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS AND CAPITAL HILL SINCE THE PASSING OF THE AMENDMENT TO THE FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT IN 1997. THIS "FAIR CREDIT FULL DISCLOSURE ACT" MUST PASS TO GIVE THE CONSUMER THE RIGHT TO "FIGHT" AN UNFAIR SCORING SYSTEM. WITHOUT PASSAGE THE CONSUMER WILL HAVE TO

                  information in a consumer's file, including credit scores, risk scores,

                                    A BILL

                            To amend the Fair Credit Reporting Act to require the

                            disclosure of all information in a consumer's file, includ-

                             ing credit scores, risk scores, and any other predictors.

 

                                  Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

                2     tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

                3     SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

                4            This Act may be cited as the "Fair Credit Full Dis-

                5     closure Act".

                6     SEC.2. ALL INFORMATION IN CONSUMERS FILE REQUIRED

                    7                               TO BE DISCLOSED.

                    8            Section 609 (a) (1) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act

                9     (15 U.S.C. 1681g (a) (1) ) is amended to read as follows:

 

 

                       1                 "(1) All information in the consumer's file at

                       2          the time of the request, including any information

                       3         concerning credit scores or any other risk scores

                       4         or predictors relating to the consumer.".
